Our firm is known as a solid litigation firm that's not afraid to go to trial. We file suit, answer discovery, take depositions, hire and designate experts, and, unlike many other firms, we actually go to trial or arbitration — frequently.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for a BILINGUAL, EXPERIENCED litigation paralegal to step into a senior role supporting a 25-year personal injury trial attorney. This is not an entry-level or training position — we need someone who has already mastered the fundamentals of litigation practice and can run with a case independently, from filing suit through trial, with minimal supervision.

The right person for this role has sharp attention to detail, catches things others miss, and takes ownership of deadlines and client relationships without needing to be told twice. You should be comfortable making judgment calls, prioritizing a demanding docket on your own, and flagging problems before they become emergencies — not waiting to be handed a to-do list. We regularly take our paralegals to trial with us, which is an exhilarating experience for those who thrive on high-stakes, fast-moving work.

Job Responsibilities

Independently managing a full litigation caseload from suit filing through trial preparation
Preparing, filing, and coordinating service of pleadings and discovery
Obtaining trial dates and filing scheduling orders
Obtaining dates and scheduling depositions, mediations, and hearings for all parties
Speaking directly with clients to answer questions and guide them through the litigation process
Proactively managing the attorney's docket and calendar, and flagging conflicts or issues before they arise
Acting as liaison among all parties' attorneys, the court, arbitrators, or other neutrals for scheduling and the exchange of documents and information
Organizing and managing case files and documents using the firm's established processes and systems, including AI software, like Eve and Claude
Using Filevine, the firm's case management, calendaring, and client communication software (training on Filevine specifically provided; prior case-management software experience expected)
Preparing trial and hearing materials, including exhibit binders, deposition appendices, and court filings, with minimal oversight

Education and Experience Requirements

5–10+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm litigation setting, with substantive personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred

Demonstrated track record of managing a caseload independently, with minimal supervision

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong grammar and spelling required

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and case management/calendaring software

References from prior employers that speak to reliability, judgment, and follow-through

Typical hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, though this role will sometimes require later hours or weekend work.
