Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will support attorneys by managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes. Your expertise will help streamline case management, facilitate effective client communication, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy. Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with case preparation by organizing and maintaining case files using case management software and document management systems such as iManage.
Conduct thorough legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support case strategies.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
Manage document review and discovery processes, ensuring timely production of evidence and adherence to deadlines.
Perform data entry tasks accurately within various legal databases while maintaining meticulous records of case activities.
Proofread all legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to legal terminology and formatting standards.
Handle client communication professionally, providing updates and answering inquiries while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Support administrative functions such as filing documents electronically or physically, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars for attorneys.
Utilize technical tools like Word processing software and case management platforms efficiently to enhance productivity.
Maintain a high level of organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy legal environment.

Requirements

Proven paralegal experience with a strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology.
Demonstrated analysis skills to interpret complex legal information accurately.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with case management software such as iManage or similar systems.
Exceptional proofreading skills with keen attention to detail in document review and drafting.
Experience handling confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
Ability to perform legal research using various resources including online databases and law library materials.
Administrative experience supporting law office operations or related fields is highly desirable.
Technical proficiency in word processing, data entry, document management systems, and legal discovery tools is essential.
