Full Job Description

We are looking for a motivated tax accountant to add to our growing firm. This is an opportunity to make a difference, build client relationships and provide excellent service and a great product.

You should be experienced with the ability to work independently while still being a valuable member of the firm. We focus on helping clients be successful in order to achieve our own success.

The tax accountant needs to have been exposed to individual, partnership, corporate, S-corp and trust tax preparation.

2-4 years of public accounting experience is normally needed to be exposed to the above types of entities.

The ideal candidate will possess the desire to become involved in all aspects of public accounting and have the ability and desire to continue to learn.

Responsibilities and Duties

The job functions and responsibilities include:

Preparing S-Corporation, partnership, corporation, trust and individual tax returns efficiently and completely.
Contributing to constant improvement in refining processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
Some reviewing of staff work for procedural completeness.

Qualifications and Skills

Required qualifications for this position:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or advanced degree in tax preferred
2-4 years minimum experience in tax compliance with partnership, corporate, and individual tax knowledge
