Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dialysis Administrative Assistant, where your organizational skills and healthcare knowledge will play a vital role in supporting efficient dialysis center operations. In this energetic position, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, staff, and insurance providers, ensuring smooth administrative workflows. Your proactive approach will help facilitate quality patient care while managing essential administrative functions with precision and enthusiasm.

Duties

Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications to optimize clinic flow.
Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) by inputting patient information, treatment details, and medical documentation efficiently.
Assist with insurance third-party billing processes, verifying coverage and submitting claims promptly to ensure timely reimbursements.
Coordinate with managed care organizations and health insurance providers to resolve coverage issues and facilitate patient eligibility verification.
Support revenue cycle management activities by processing payments, tracking outstanding balances, and generating financial reports.
Handle incoming calls and inquiries professionally, providing clear information about services, appointments, and billing procedures.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in healthcare administration or medical office support, preferably within a dialysis or outpatient setting.
Strong knowledge of managed care systems, health insurance policies, and third-party billing procedures.
Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) management software.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Knowledge of revenue cycle management processes to support financial operations.
Exceptional communication skills to liaise confidently with patients, providers, and insurance companies.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
