Orso Health is a leading clinical research organization with sites across California and Arizona. We specialize in allergy, asthma, and other therapeutic areas — conducting pharmaceutical-sponsored trials with a patient-centered approach that sets us apart. Position Overview
You’ll be the backbone of our multi-site trial operations — coordinating studies from participant recruitment through closeout, ensuring regulatory compliance, and serving as a key liaison between investigators, sponsors, and patients. This role covers our San Diego, Los Angeles, and our other Souther California and Arizona research sites.

Travel commitment: Frequent travel between sites is required (personal vehicle recommended; mileage reimbursement provided). Occasional overnight stays may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Study & Trial Management

Coordinate and manage clinical research studies across multiple sites in accordance with protocols and regulatory guidelines
Conduct participant visits, collect and enter study data, and manage follow-up assessments with precision
Perform quality control checks to safeguard data integrity
Monitor study supplies and equipment across locations

Participant Advocacy & Safety

Recruit, screen, and enroll participants — serving as a trusted point of contact throughout their trial journey
Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation that meet the highest standards
Serve as a critical patient safety advocate through timely, accurate adverse event documentation and protocol deviation reporting

Collaboration & Compliance

Collaborate closely with investigators, clinical staff, and external sponsors to keep studies on track
Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders, preparing progress reports for audits and meetings
Uphold GCP, FDA regulations, SOPs, and ICH-GCP guidelines without exception

What Success Looks Like

In your first 30 days, you’ve shadowed across all three sites, built relationships with site staff, and are independently managing at least one active study.

By 6 months, you’re the go-to coordinator for sponsor communications, your data quality metrics are consistently excellent, and you’ve contributed to a smooth audit cycle.

At 1 year, you’re mentoring newer staff, have ownership of multiple concurrent trials, and are actively contributing ideas for process improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Requirements

3–5 years of experience in clinical research coordination, with direct experience working on pharmaceutical-sponsored clinical trials strongly preferred.
Active California or National certification as an LVN or Medical Assistant
Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site clinical trial environment
Proficiency in electronic data capture systems (e.g., Medidata, REDCap) and Microsoft Office
Willingness and ability to travel frequently

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in allergy, asthma, or related therapeutic areas
CCRC or CCRA certification
Experience with oncology, cardiology, or regenerative medicine studies

Skills & Abilities

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple deadlines
Adaptability to different clinical settings and workflows

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
Type: Full-time, non-exempt, hourly
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Frequent travel to San Diego, LA, and other research sites
