Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining or casual restaurant setting. Prior experience with POS systems and food handling is preferred, along with a strong commitment to hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
Follow all sanitation, food handling, and safety procedures consistently

Skills

Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse clientele
Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards in the food industry
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Previous experience in fine dining, casual restaurant, nightclub, or hospitality environments is preferred
Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and sales performance
