Full Job Description

We are seeking an employment-based immigration paralegal to join our growing immigration law firm. As a paralegal, you will be able to build your career as our nationally recognized firm continues to grow – ensuring our clients receive expert legal support and impeccable customer service in everything we do.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Prepare employment-based immigration cases as assigned by attorneys and work with attorneys in the preparation, filing, and monitoring of various immigration matters submitted to the appropriate government agencies.
Communicate regularly with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural and case processing issues.
Work with clients directly to gather necessary information and documentation in a timely manner.
Prepare forms and letters.
Prepare filings for mailing.

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

Bachelor’s degree or higher
Demonstrated ability to handle high volume case load while maintaining high level of productivity.
Detail-oriented and ability to work independently
Strong customer service skills for frequent client contact
Must be able to work well under stress and ever-changing deadlines
Ability to manage high caseload and work within strict timeline

Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not a requirement
