Job Summary

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining proper beverage service protocols
Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with basic math skills
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions
Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer with the ability to make recommendations based on guest preferences
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining quality service
Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Previous fine dining or hospitality experience is highly desirable to provide a polished guest experience
