Job Summary

We are a small law office seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our day to day office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, experience in administrative duties, and be a team player. This role involves bookkeeping, providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth functioning of daily office activities. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where efficiency and professionalism are valued.

Responsibilities

Manage phone system and direct calls appropriately using professional phone etiquette.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using productivity software such as Microsoft Office, Word and Google
Bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, Tussman and Clio, and other accounting tools
Maintaining client deposits, post client costs, credit card payments, prepare billing invoices, generate and mail semi-monthly and monthly statements to clients
Support office management activities, including filing, proofreading documents, and organizing office supplies
Provide customer support via phone, email, or in person, ensuring high-quality service standards are maintained
Handle clerical duties such as copying, scanning, opening and closing files, and maintaining organized filing systems
Maintain office supplies inventory
Support special projects as needed to improve office efficiency and productivity

Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with QuickBooks, Clio and Tussman, or similar bookkeeping software is preferred
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent typing speed and data entry skills with high accuracy
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
Technical proficiency in office productivity tools and data entry processes
Customer service expertise with a focus on support and client satisfaction
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally

This role is essential for maintaining efficient office workflows and maintaining the office bookkeeping. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, strong organizational capabilities, and a commitment to excellence in all tasks undertaken.

This is a full-time, on site job and is available immediately. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
