Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Certified Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will ensure timely payroll processing, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and support the organization’s payroll functions. This role will also work as a bid coordinator for public works projects.

Duties

Process payroll on a regular schedule, ensuring all employee wages are calculated correctly and paid on time.
Verify employee hours, wages, deductions, and benefits to ensure accuracy before processing payments.
Maintain and update payroll records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues promptly.
Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in a certified payroll environment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks Desktop and DIR Certified Payroll Processing.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
