Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Services Director to lead our social services team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work, program development, and management, with a particular focus on working with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. As the Social Services Director, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of social services programs, ensuring high-quality support for clients and their families while fostering positive relationships within the community.

Duties

Develop, implement, and oversee social services programs tailored to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges.
Manage and supervise social services staff, providing leadership, training, and mentorship to promote professional growth and team cohesion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, community agencies, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and support.
Oversee administrative functions including documentation, compliance with regulations, and budget management to ensure efficient program operations.
Conduct assessments of client needs and develop individualized service plans aligned with best practices in social work.
Lead efforts in program development to expand services, improve quality standards, and incorporate innovative approaches.
Monitor program outcomes through data collection and analysis to ensure continuous improvement and accountability.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field; licensure or certification preferred.
Extensive experience in social services management, particularly working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health issues.
Proven ability to develop and manage programs effectively while supervising staff members.
Strong relationship management skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, community partners, and healthcare providers.
Demonstrated experience in budgeting, administrative oversight, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Knowledge of behavioral health practices and intervention strategies is highly desirable.
