The Role
Park Operations, Production, and AV
If you enjoy orchestrating complex hospitality environments where many departments rely on your team to deliver, this role may be for you.
The Venue Operations & Production Manager oversees the Venue’s operations, inclusive of physically facilitating private and public events, reservations and gatherings, live music and staging, day-to-day walk-in visitation, and vendors. Every team that plans and sells experiences in our parks relies on the Venue Operations Manager to execute them, meaning this role manages not only the operations department but also how the entire company collaborates with that department to bring experiences to life for our guests. You’ll supervise a dedicated team focused on layouts, facilities, maintenance, janitorial, and groundskeeping, staffing as necessary to ensure all work is accomplished on time, while collaborating directly with the park hosts, event planners, vendors, and bar to bring everything together.
The Venue Operations Manager also owns the venue's audiovisual and production infrastructure. This includes the day-to-day operation of televisions, sound systems, staging, and production equipment across the park, as well as supporting performers, DJs, presenters, and private event clients. Whether maintaining synchronized park-wide audio, configuring individual event zones, troubleshooting equipment, or producing live performances, this role ensures the venue's technical systems consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Venue Operations
The Venue Operations Manager maintains clear expectations, operational boundaries, and accountability across teams. In this role, you’ll design and oversee how departments collaborate to deliver park services, ensuring reliable execution and exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities include:
Operational Planning and Quality Control: Ensure plans for events, programming, reservations, and park operations are fully developed and operationally sound by reviewing layouts, timelines, access plans, and resource needs. Identify and resolve logistical risks in advance, including ingress and egress, emergency access, vendor coordination, furniture movement, changes in public access, and interruptions to utilities or amenities, to ensure experiences are safe, functional, and high-quality.
Guest Experience Standards and Live Service Oversight: Oversee the readiness and presentation of reservation spaces, monitor active gatherings and park activity, and step in when necessary to ensure guests feel welcomed, supported, and cared for from arrival through departure.
Facilities, Maintenance, and Park Standards: Maintain and improve park facilities to support current operations and future growth by overseeing equipment, storage, upkeep, repairs, and improvements. Establish park standards through recurring site walkthroughs and supervision of facilities staff, ensuring work orders and maintenance schedules are tracked and completed accurately and on time. Oversee inventory, equipment, and supply management while maintaining financial oversight of maintenance budgets and expenditures.
Venue Production & AV Systems: Own the venue-wide audiovisual and production environment, including televisions, digital signage, sound systems, microphones, mixers, speakers, amplifiers, stage equipment, presentation equipment, and related infrastructure. Configure and operate independent or synchronized audio and video across multiple park zones to support daily operations, advertising, reservations, public programming, and private events. Serve as the primary production lead for performances, DJs, presentations, and other live experiences by coordinating directly with performers, vendors, and clients; advancing technical requirements; overseeing load-in, setup, sound check, show operation, troubleshooting, strike, and equipment storage. Directly support reservation clients requiring audiovisual services by assisting with presentations, music, microphones, television content, and other production needs while ensuring equipment is properly configured before, during, and after events. Maintain the venue's audiovisual assets through preventative maintenance, inventory management, equipment organization, repair coordination, replacement planning, and administration of technology subscriptions and services, including streaming television, music licensing and playback platforms, and other operational software required for venue operations.
Product Development and Demand Awareness: Monitor space utilization, guest demand, and customer request trends to identify opportunities for new products and services. Partner with leadership to launch offerings that are operationally feasible, reliable, and profitable, and ensure staff is trained to sell and deliver them effectively.
Success Metrics

Every department knows what is expected of them, operational plans are thorough and realistic, and operational issues are identified and resolved long before they impact the guest experience.
