Full Job Description

Alcal Specialty Contracting, Inc is looking for an experienced Commercial Estimator to join our Roofing & Waterproofing division in Fremont, CA.

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Salary

LOCATION: Fremont, CA

WAGE SCALE: $90,000-$125,000

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

Preparing and submitting bids
Performing Take-Offs and interpreting plans
Proactively meeting with new and potential customers to generate leads
Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 5 years roofing estimating experience; or equivalent years of education; or combination of work experience and education
Must be able to read, interpret and accurately take-off construction drawings and specifications
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate a variety of office equipment
Valid CA Driver’s License
