Tong Sui is one of the most popular dessert and drinks shops in the Bay Area. We are best known for fresh coconut desserts and organic fresh fruit drinks, and awarded Yelp's Customer Favorite Shops (with 4.5+ Star Rating) and Most Loved on Doordash.

Originating from Hong Kong desserts, Tongsui is the only new fusion Asian dessert shop in the bay area. Tongsui crafts premium desserts and drinks made fresh in store daily. We source our premium organic ingredients straight from local farms, and offer the best desserts and experience to customers. We’re now looking for dedicated individuals to be a part of our team.

We are hiring: assistant store manager at Valley Fair location

As an Assistant Store Manager at Tong Sui Valley Fair, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the store team, along with your Store Manager, to ensure operational excellence and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Assisting the manager in managing products, services, and operations within the store;
Performing duties similar to those of a shift leader or higher;
Assisting the manager in properly handling in-store, online, and catering orders;
Assisting the manager with recruiting and training front desk staff and tea barista, and helping with the daily performance management of new employees;
Assisting the manager in providing guidance and mentorship to all store employees, regularly communicating with team members to understand their motivations, goals, and areas for improvement, and fostering a positive team culture;
Assisting the manager in quality and safety/hygiene control;
Assisting the manager in managing inventory of supplies and coordinating the purchasing process;
Scheduling equipment maintenance and repairs when necessary;
Acquiring comprehensive store management skills to prepare for promotion to store manager.

Qualifications

1+ years of management experience
Details oriented, highly responsive and stress resistant.
Great attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit
Experience in people management

Job Types:

Full-time, 40 hours/week (weekends needed)

Pay:

Starting at $25 per hour
