Interested in a career in a financial institution? CEFCU currently has a full-time Dealer Production Specialist (Consumer Lending) position open based out of our Willow Glen location.

The CA Dealer Production Specialist is Responsible for developing, maintaining and expanding dealer relationships by promoting CEFCU’s indirect lending services and products. The ideal candidate will represent the credit union at various functions to increase indirect lending business through the development and implementation of relationship-focused, sales strategies that are supported through routine in-person visits. Advocates for the dealers by working closely with the lending team while maintaining high standards for loan quality. Participates in and is held accountable for the attainment of individual and departmental/organizational goals.

This position is based out of the Willow Glen office, and the Dealer Production Specialist will be assigned to do visits and attend business development opportunities in San Jose, Santa Clara, Daly City, Concord, Oakland areas.

Due to the nature of this role and responsibilities of the position, it is required to be self-motivated, approachable, and be able to make clear and concise notes at every point of contact.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Makes regular visits to vendor partners through a pre-determined level of routine and visits; develops and supports new and existing dealer relationships through the

indirect lending program

Responsible for processing direct and indirect loan packets; Interviews members for loan purpose and ensures completeness/accuracy of all documents; cross-sells various products
Communicates loan decisions directly with the member or vendor partner, to include changes and/or restrictions/conditions on the loans
Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and all state and federal regulatory

guidelines

Responsible for participating in daily monitoring of the dealer phone line to ensure sufficient coverage is provided
Notifies loan manager of all pertinent feedback and issues that arise in their area of

responsibility

Represents CEFCU at conferences, chapter meetings, CEFCU driven off-site events, mixers, and other events to build relationships

This is a full-time position (minimum 40 hours for the week), with opportunities for over time. The hourly rate of pay for new hires is $28.17 to $28.75 per hour.

Qualifications and Skills
Position Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be eligible to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registration (NMLS) to comply with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage LIcensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act).
Minimum one year of previous consumer lending experience.

Preferred:

Applicable college courses and/or commensurate experience is preferred.
Previous experience in Dealer Direct Lending.
