Full Job Description

POSITION: Project Assistant

COMPENSATION: $30.00/ Hour

BENEFITS: Health, dental, vision, FSA, EAP, life insurance (LTD), 401(K), paid sick, vacation and Holidays.

This position offers a 4% of annual salary sign-on bonus for new hires!

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Under general supervision, the Project Assistant performs a variety of technical and administrative support tasks for the Development Department; types and composes correspondence, reports, contracts, agreements, specialized forms, technical and statistical material and other documents from drafts; performs related work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in project management or administrative assistance.
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable completing multiple tasks under fixed time constraints and deadlines
Ability to self-motivate and work with minimal direction to complete complex tasks.
Plan, organize, and carry out assignments from management staff with supervision.
Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to work independently and within a team of multiple partners and stakeholder
Maintain a variety of filing, record-keeping, and tracking systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates relevant administrative functions in support of new construction and rehabilitation projects.
Participates in departmental projects and studies requiring coordination of activities across departmental functional lines.
Implements file, index, tracking, and record keeping systems; research records within areas of assigned responsibility to prepare reports and provides follow-up information to inquiries.
Provides assistance with due diligence periods to development staff.
Assists the Project Manager or Associate Project Manager in the preparation of monthly draw requests.
Tracks and maintains project budgets and contracts.
Performs clerical and data entry tasks as needed; monitors a variety of special projects/tasks.
Establishes and maintains contact and working relationships with all internal departments, and external agencies for acquisition of necessary information.
Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Driving to off-site meetings including construction sites where physical barriers are present.
Extensive use of computers and telephone.
Sitting at desk for extended periods of time.
The ability to lift/move/carry up to and including 50 pounds.
