Our client is seeking a Project Manager / Business Analyst in for a remote opportunity
Role Description
A leading global retail is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Business Analyst with a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to lead an enterprise-wide evaluation and selection initiative for Non-Human Identity (NHI) and AI/Agent Identity Discovery & Registry solutions.
This role will be responsible for managing the initiative from inception through final recommendation, including requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, vendor engagement, solution evaluation, scoring, and executive reporting. The individual will partner with Identity Security, Enterprise Architecture, AI governance, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and procurement teams to ensure business and technical objectives are achieved.
- Lead and manage the end-to-end RFI/RFP process, including project planning, milestones, dependencies, risk management, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to gather and document business, security, technical, operational, governance, and integration requirements.
- Develop structured RFI/RFP content, evaluation criteria, use cases, scoring methodologies, and decision frameworks.
- Coordinate vendor engagement activities, including response management, demonstrations, technical reviews, proof-of-concept discussions, and final proposal evaluations.
- Manage the vendor assessment process by consolidating stakeholder feedback, scoring responses, identifying risks, comparing capabilities, and developing recommendations.
- Assess solutions supporting:
- Non-human identity discovery
- Service and privileged service accounts
- Machine and workload identities
- API identities
- Secrets and certificate management
- AI and agentic identities
- Identity ownership, lifecycle management, and governance
- Maintain project governance, including decision logs, RAID management, action tracking, dependencies, timelines, and executive status reporting.
- Collaborate with identity security, enterprise architecture, and technology teams to ensure alignment with security strategy, Zero Trust principles, AI governance frameworks, and enterprise technology standards.
- Develop executive-ready vendor comparison, recommendation, and business case materials to support leadership and governance approvals.
Skills & Requirements
- Significant experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, Cybersecurity, Identity and Access Management (IAM), or enterprise technology transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of IAM disciplines, including:
- Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Authentication and authorization
- Identity lifecycle management
- Access governance and privileged identities
- Experience leading or supporting enterprise technology RFI/RFP processes and vendor evaluations.
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops, gather requirements, manage stakeholders, and drive consensus across multiple business and technical teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical and security concepts into clear business requirements and executive-level presentations.
- Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional initiatives from discovery through final recommendation and approval.
- Experience with Non-Human Identity (NHI), machine identities, workload identities, service accounts, secrets management, certificate lifecycle management, AI/Agent identities, Agentic AI security, or emerging identity governance technologies.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture, cloud security, identity security platforms, and enterprise governance programs.
- Knowledge of AI governance, automation security, and modern identity ecosystems.
