Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all HR functions across Puerto Rico, Florida, and LATAM regions. This position serves as the strategic link between the company’s leadership and local HR agencies in each country, ensuring full compliance with labor laws, effective communication, and the alignment of HR initiatives with organizational objectives. Lead employee experience initiatives and utilize HR analytics to inform decision-making and improve retention

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor HR strategies aligned with corporate goals and business needs in all regions.
Supervise and mentor the HR team, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures across territories.
Serve as the primary liaison between headquarters and LATAM offices, coordinating with local HR agencies to ensure proper implementation of company policies and compliance with local legislation. Collaborate with other departments to support their HR-related needs and initiatives.
Directly oversee HR operations in Florida, including employee relations, payroll support, recruitment, and compliance under U.S. federal and state regulations.
Provide HR guidance and strategic support to LATAM branches, ensuring alignment with corporate values and legal requirements.
Administer and monitor all medical insurance plans and 401(k) retirement programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective employee communication.
Benefits Compliance under ERISA and ACA.
Analyze workforce data to identify trends and recommend proactive HR strategies.
Coordinate with insurance brokers, plan administrators, and regulatory entities to manage renewals, reconciliations, and audits.
Ensure full legal compliance across jurisdictions, including labor laws, OSHA, FMLA, COBRA, SINOT, and other applicable regulations.
Oversee internal and external audits, reporting, and employee documentation to maintain compliance and operational integrity.
Manage and implement HRIS systems to optimize data accuracy, process automation, and analytics for HR decision-making.
Lead HR digital transformation initiatives to improve automation and data-driven decision-making.
Maintain up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all HR databases.
Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding, across all regions.
Evaluate training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance leadership, compliance, and technical skills.
Lead succession planning and performance evaluation initiatives in coordination with department heads.
Design, update, and implement employee handbooks, policies, and protocols, ensuring that all materials reflect current laws and best practices.
Promote a culture of ethics, inclusion, and professional growth throughout the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s Degree or HR Certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
Minimum of 8–10 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in multi-site or international operations.
Knowledge of HR laws in Puerto Rico, Florida (is a most), and Latin America knowledge preferred.
Computer proficiency (Microsoft software)
Proven experience with HRIS implementation and benefits administration.
Strategic thinker with the capability to architect HR plans and programs that contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
Fully bilingual (English and Spanish).
Availability to travel to assigned regions.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
