Feral Kitchen & Lounge
Job Type: Full-Time Preferred (Part-Time Available)
Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour

About the Position

Feral Kitchen & Lounge is looking for an experienced, dependable, and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We are a fast-paced restaurant and nightlife destination that values teamwork, consistency, and a passion for great food.

We're seeking someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys learning new recipes, and thrives in a high-energy environment. Full-time applicants with open availability are strongly preferred, although part-time candidates will also be considered.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipe and presentation standards.
Maintain quality, consistency, and efficiency during lunch, dinner, and late-night service.
Set up, stock, and break down kitchen stations.
Keep a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Work collaboratively with chefs and fellow kitchen staff.
Learn new recipes, techniques, and seasonal menu offerings.
Assist with food prep, inventory, and general kitchen duties as needed.

Qualifications

2–4 years of line cook experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Strong work ethic with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
Current California Food Handler Card required or the ability to obtain one upon hire.
Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification is a plus.

Schedule

Full-time preferred (30–40 hours per week).
Part-time positions are available for qualified candidates.
Open availability is highly preferred.
We participate in the late-night bar scene three nights each week. Team members should be available to work at least one late-night shift per week as part of their regular schedule.
