Lead Aesthetic Sales & Dermatology Reception

Zand Dermatology is an award-winning dermatology and wellness practice based in beautiful Mill Valley, Marin County, and Lafayette, California. We specialize in medical dermatology, skin cancer care, and advanced aesthetics. About the Role

We are looking for an Aesthetic Sales and Dermatology Receptionist to help our patients look and feel their best using our award-winning cosmetic services and products. This is primarily a SALES role; if you do not have a successfuly track record in aesthetic sales, please do not apply. If you outgoing with exceptional communication skills and a knack for developing relationships with future and current patients, you just might be the person we’re looking for.

Position Overview

You will be on the front lines helping people look and feel their best through safe, proven, and transformational nonsurgical cosmetic services. You will be directly responsible for selling a comprehensive suite of nonsurgical cosmetic treatments and products. Success in this role is measured by achieving and exceeding monthly sales goals and by staying ahead of weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics.

Responsibilities include:

Be the friendly first point of contact for patients — in person and on the phone
Provide patient education, manage scheduling, confirmations, reschedules, and cancellations
Check patients in and out, verify insurance, collect co-pays
Input accurate patient data into our EHR (Athena)
Use a consultative selling approach with prospects and patients to identify ways we will help them achieve the look of their dreams.
Conduct one-on-one beauty strategy sessions, both virtually and in-office, and influence patients to take action
Drive sales across hundreds of patient accounts simultaneously, each at different stages of the sales cycle
Take an entrepreneurial approach to managing your own opportunities by prospecting for leads, setting your own appointments, generating referrals, networking, and conducting marketing planning to develop and maintain your pipeline
Provide status of leads and opportunities on a weekly basis to ensure response times and report on lead quality to marketing manager to assist with lead source optimization
Effectively manage inbound leads by working collaboratively with internal partners to drive revenue
Proactively improve performance through coaching and feedback provided by management

Requirements

3+ years of front desk experience- in a fast-paced, consultative or aesthetic sales environment. ie Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, or a Medical Spa
Outstanding verbal communicator and active listener with strong emotional acumen
Experience managing accounts with an online CRM
Team-oriented with the desire to develop lasting professional relationships
Have the ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills – phone, Zoom, Email, in person meetings
Bachelor’s degree preferred

Compensation

This role comes with a base salary, bonus, and benefits outlined below.
Compensation: $60,000 - $67,000 base salary, depending on experience and performance, plus a tiered commission schedule of 5%-8%. $100k - $120k plus total possible compensation
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Hours: Onsite Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. May have to work selectively after hours to ensure that deals are closed and that patients are fully taken care of.

Who You Will Be Working With:

As Lead Aesthetic Sales and Dermatology Receptionist, you’ll be reporting to the Business Development Manager. You will be working with a close-knit team including front desk receptionists, medical providers, Medical Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners.
