Part-Time Accountant / Payroll Specialist / Billing Coordinator – $25–$30/hr

Pay: $25–$30/hour (DOE)

Now Hiring: Part-Time Accountant (Payroll, Billing & AR Support)

Valence Staffing Group (Field Talent) is actively hiring a Part-Time Accountant / Payroll Specialist / Billing Coordinator to support our weekly payroll processing, accounts receivable (AR), invoicing, and funding operations.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience as a:
Payroll Specialist, Billing Specialist, Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounting Assistant, Bookkeeper, or Staff Accountant (partial scope).

Core ResponsibilitiesPayroll Processing (Weekly Payroll)

Assist with weekly payroll processing for employees and contractors
Review timesheets, hours worked, pay rates, deductions, reimbursements
Coordinate payroll through Paylocity or similar payroll systems
Handle payroll reconciliation support, payroll reports, and payroll audits
Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, errors, and missing time

Billing, Invoicing & Accounts Receivable (AR)

Prepare and submit customer invoices (B2B invoicing)
Verify billing against contracts, bill rates, timesheets, and purchase orders
Manage invoicing through QuickBooks Online, client portals, and email billing systems
Support accounts receivable (AR), invoice tracking, collections follow-up, and billing corrections
Assist with invoice disputes, short pays, and rebilling

Funding & Cash Flow Support (Factoring / Funding)

Assist with funding requests, invoice factoring, and advance funding packages
Work with funding partners (e.g., Advance Partners)
Compile backup including invoices, payroll registers, and timesheets
Track funding approvals, rejections, and outstanding funding items

Accounting & Administrative Support

Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks, Paylocity, Bullhorn, BillFlo, and Excel
Support accounting operations, audit-ready documentation, and financial record organization
Track open items related to payroll, billing, AR, and funding
Communicate with internal teams, clients, and vendors

Required Qualifications (Keywords for Search Match)

Experience in payroll processing, payroll administration, or payroll support
Experience with accounts receivable (AR), billing, invoicing, or collections
Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Paylocity, ADP, or similar accounting/payroll software
Strong skills in data entry, reconciliation, and financial accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel / spreadsheets
Ability to work in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment

Preferred Keywords / Experience:

Staffing industry payroll or construction accounting
High-volume payroll (weekly payroll cycles)
Experience with Bullhorn ATS, BillFlo, or CRM systems
Experience with invoice factoring / funding / cash flow management

What This Role Is NOT

This is not a full-charge accountant or senior accountant role.
No responsibility for:

Month-end close
Financial statements
Tax filings
Full-cycle bookkeeping
