We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students of all ages and skill levels in a safe and supportive environment. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for swimming and a commitment to providing exceptional instruction.

Responsibilities:

- Teach and instruct students in swimming techniques and skills, including diving, treading water, and strokes such as freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with varying skill levels and abilities.
- Provide positive reinforcement and feedback to students, promoting a fun and engaging learning environment.
- Monitor students during lessons and ensure their safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized pool area, ensuring that all safety equipment and facilities are in good condition.
- Participate in pool management and maintenance activities, including testing pool water quality and performing routine pool maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other instructors and pool staff to create a positive and supportive team environment.
- Develop and maintain a strong rapport with students and their parents, ensuring that all students feel welcome and supported.

Experience:
- Prior experience as a swim instructor or in a related field, such as physical education, health club management, or martial arts instruction.
- Experience working with students of all ages and skill levels.
- Experience with pool management and maintenance is a plus.
- Familiarity with swimming techniques and safety protocols is essential.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
- Experience with adaptive swimming techniques for students with special needs is a plus.

Skills:

- Experience teaching swimming or other aquatic activities preferred.
- Knowledge of swimming techniques and safety protocols.
- Experience working with students of all ages and skill levels.
- Experience in physical education or health club management.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Experience with pool management and maintenance.
- Familiarity with martial arts, cheerleading, or karate is a plus.
- Experience with adaptive swimming techniques for students with special needs is a plus.
- Ability to climb and lift heavy objects.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
