DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Reports To: Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Department: Marketing

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

BTX Global Logistics, a full-service transportation and logistics company headquartered in Shelton, CT, is seeking a Director of Marketing.

Position Summary

The Director of Marketing is a strategic leader responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive marketing programs that drive brand awareness, demand generation, and revenue growth. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, this role works in close collaboration with Executive Leadership to align marketing initiatives with pipeline goals and business objectives. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with strong leadership skills and a track record of delivering measurable results. The Director’s primary duty is to oversee the entire marketing department. The Marketing Director conducts competitor and market research.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

Execute BTX’s marketing strategy.
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team across brand, content, digital, and demand generation functions.

Demand Generation & Pipeline Support

Design and manage multi-channel campaigns (email, paid, SEO/SEM, events, social) to drive qualified leads and sales pipeline.
Establish and track KPIs for lead generation, conversion rates, and marketing-sourced revenue contribution.
Partner closely with sales leadership to ensure seamless lead handoff, pipeline visibility, and feedback loops.

Brand & Content

Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all channels and materials.
Direct the creation of compelling content
Ensure consistent brand voice and storytelling across all customer touchpoints.

Analytics & Reporting

Build and maintain dashboards to track marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and funnel health.
Present marketing results, insights, and recommendations to the VP of Sales & Marketing and executive leadership on a regular cadence.
Use data and testing to continuously improve campaign performance and audience targeting.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
7+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with sales teams.
Strong video editing and production skills
Proficiency in marketing automation with Hubspot, BTX’s CRM.
SEO & AGO experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to senior leadership.
Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
