Job Title: Restaurant Director of Catering

Position Summary

The Restaurant Director of Catering owns the strategic vision, sales growth, and execution of our catering business, bringing proven experience leading catering programs across 10+ restaurant locations. Reporting directly to the President/COO, you will serve as the engine for B2B revenue growth, with a clear strategic mandate to drive aggressive year-over-year territory sales expansion. In this high-impact role, you will directly oversee and optimize our internal catering call center team while partnering closely with marketing and restaurant operations to ensure flawless delivery, execution, and brand integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Growth & Business Development

Drive Revenue: Build and execute an aggressive strategic sales plan to achieve high-growth year-over-year catering revenue targets.
Hunt & Secure B2B Leads: Actively prospect and lock in major accounts with corporate clients, universities, healthcare systems, and event planners.
Leverage Third-Party Channels: Maximize corporate market penetration and lead volume via strategic oversight of platforms like ezCater.
Set the Bar: Establish sales targets, pipeline metrics, and conversion goals to systematically grow our market share.

Call Center Leadership & Team Development

Manage the Hub: Oversee, coach, and scale our internal catering call center team to maximize inbound order conversions and upselling opportunities.
Build Winning Teams: Establish clear performance metrics (KPIs), call-handling standards, and modern training programs for call center representatives.
Nurture Relationships: Guide the team in cultivating local community connections to maximize repeat business, client retention, and average order values.

Operations, Tech Optimization & Platform Management

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Restaurant Operations to streamline catering workflows, eliminate execution barriers, and guarantee on-time accuracy.
Tech Power-User: Serve as the brand's ultimate subject matter expert for our unified catering and communication software stacks.
Optimize the System: Manage order flows, lead times, menu pricing, CRM tracking, and delivery parameters to maximize profitability.
Upskill Teams: Train restaurant leaders, call center staff, and operational partners on exact packaging, staging, and ordering procedures.

Marketing, Communication & Financial Performance

Co-Create Campaigns: Work hand-in-hand with the Marketing team to design compelling seasonal promotions, corporate incentives, and local store marketing plays.
Analyze & Pivot: Track critical financial data—including margins, profitability, channel performance, and call center metrics—to deliver actionable trend reports to executive leadership.

Requirements & Qualifications:

What You Bring:

Proven Track Record: 5+ years of success in specifically the restaurant industry, preferably with fast-casual, quick service (QSR).
Must have direct multi-unit leadership experience managing 10+ restaurant locations at the same time.
Leadership Experience: Minimum 3 years leading high-performing catering sales, business development, or operations within a restaurant organization.
Industry Grit: Deep understanding of high-volume fast-casual restaurant logistics, packaging, CRM software, and third-party delivery setups.
Education Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
Knowledge and use of all Microsoft programs.

Technology & Platform Requirements:

Required Tech: Extensive, hands-on experience utilizing Olo Catering or leading restaurant catering programs required.
Preferred Platforms: Strong familiarity and proficiency with industry-specific tools including Monkey Media (Monkey) and ezCater.
Preferred Workspace Tools: Daily proficiency managing teams and pipelines using Slack (for internal communication) and Peoplelinx (or similar sales engagement/CRM software).

Preferred Highlights:

Established network or ability to build with major local businesses, corporate campuses, schools, and event venues in the Atlanta metro area.
Strong background building custom sales forecasts, performance dashboards, and executive budgets.

Compensation & Perks

Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 (dependent on experience) with direct exposure to executive leadership.
Growth-Driven Variable Pay: Highly lucrative, performance-based quarterly bonus plan designed to reward market growth while protecting our core business:
