Full Job Description

Superior Sheds has been a premier shed manufacturer since 1994. Our People and our Products continue to drive our thriving business. We are an entrepreneurial company that is always seeking to grow our business in a responsible way. Our corporate headquarters is centrally located in Orange City. Superior Sheds also has multiple locations spread throughout Florida. Due to our growth potential, we are seeking to add an entrepreneurial Regional Sales Manager to our growing and winning team. This position will report to the President and have the opportunity to have significant influence over all aspects of our sales function.

The Regional Sales Manager should be a true Regional Sales Manager, with a passion for selling, who has developed, grown and led Sales Teams, preferably in durable goods. The Sales Manager should have a “Hands-on” approach and possess an extensive Sales Training background. This high-level professional needs to be a proven leader with the ability to gain trust and garner influence from the sales team and throughout the entire company. Ability to improve and innovate the sales process. Must be strategically determine new business locations, channels and new business development opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Provides leadership to the assigned region, overseeing retail activities and sales locations.

· Reviews and analyzes regional sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, identify potential new markets.

· Collaborates with Sales Representatives to develop sales goals for each location, monitors progress toward those goals, and develops strategies to attract and retain customers.

· Identifies opportunities for improvement in the store region; designs and implements training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize productivity and morale.

· Schedules and directs regular sales meetings and events to share information, set and revise goals, and to increase morale.

· Collaborate with executive leadership to develop territories, sales quotas, and strategies.

· Prepares and implements district-side budget; monitors and approves expenses.

· Maintains knowledge of market, competition, and best practices and trends in sales techniques and strategies.

· Building and maintaining relationships with dealer outlets.

· Check and Manage inventory levels.

· Frequent travel’ overnight travel may be required.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Hires and trains Retail Sales Representatives.

· Organizes and oversees the schedules, territories, and performance of store representatives.

· Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

· Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.

· Extensive experience as sales manager required.

Qualifications/Knowledge

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills.

· Excellent math skills to draft and implement budgets and conduct data analysis.

· Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.

· Thorough understanding of company’s products and/or services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding market.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Site or related software.

· Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

Work Environment

· This position operates in a professional office environment.

· This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Requirements

· This is mostly a sedentary role.

· Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing as necessary.

· Requires frequent walking to the lot

· Must be able to work in an inside office environment.

· Must adjust to all type of weather while working outside
