About Atlas Event Rental

Atlas Event Rental is a growing event rental company dedicated to helping clients create unforgettable events through exceptional products and outstanding service. From weddings and corporate events to conventions, private celebrations, and large-scale productions, we partner with our clients to bring their vision to life.

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to develop and grow our Orlando territory. This role is responsible for generating new business, building relationships with venues and event professionals, and serving as a trusted resource for clients throughout the event planning process.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong networking and sales skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating exceptional customer experiences.

Position Summary

As the Outside Sales Representative for the Orlando market, you will be responsible for expanding Atlas Event Rental's presence throughout Central Florida by developing relationships with event venues, wedding planners, hotels, corporate clients, nonprofits, and other event industry professionals.

You will identify new business opportunities, conduct client consultations, prepare proposals, close sales, and coordinate with our operations team to ensure successful event execution.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow Atlas Event Rental's Orlando and Central Florida territory.
Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, venue visits, and industry events.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Establish relationships with event planners, wedding professionals, venues, hotels, convention centers, corporate organizations, and community partners.
Represent Atlas Event Rental at networking events, trade shows, bridal shows, and industry functions.
Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand event needs and recommend rental solutions.
Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and customized rental packages.
Follow up on leads and proposals to secure bookings and maximize revenue.
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Stay current on rental inventory, industry trends, and market opportunities.
Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients, venues, and industry partners.
Maintain regular communication with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and planning process.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
Work closely with operations, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Communicate client expectations and event details accurately to internal teams.
Attend select event setups and industry functions, as approved by management, to strengthen relationships and support company marketing efforts.
Assist with resolving event-related issues and accommodating last-minute client requests when necessary.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within company CRM systems.
Track sales performance and submit weekly sales reports to the Director of Sales.
Monitor outstanding contracts and assist with customer follow-up as needed.
Contribute to sales strategy, market development, and customer retention initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience with a demonstrated history of achieving sales goals.
Strong prospecting, networking, negotiation, and closing skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently while managing a large sales territory.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience utilizing CRM software and managing sales pipelines.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation

Base Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 annually
