We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with prior public accounting/CPA firm experience and advanced QuickBooks Online expertise to join our growing accounting services team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional who enjoys working directly with clients, solving complex accounting challenges, and helping businesses gain clarity through accurate financial reporting and analysis. What You'll Do

Managing the monthly accounting cycle for a diverse portfolio of clients
Performing bank, credit card, loan, and balance sheet reconciliations
Reviewing and maintaining general ledger accuracy
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
Analyzing financial results and identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Recording depreciation, fixed asset activity, and loan transactions
Reviewing payroll activity and reconciling payroll reports
Assisting clients with accounting questions and financial best practices
Identifying process improvements and helping clients maximize their use of QuickBooks Online
Collaborating with tax professionals and other team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working in a CPA firm or public accounting environment
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation
Experience managing multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
Professional appearance, excellent communication and client service abilities
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
2+ years of accounting experience
Experience with multiple industries and client accounting services
Familiarity with payroll tax reporting
Experience with cloud-based accounting and workflow systems
