Full Job Description

We are a mochi manufacturing company based in Irvine, CA, currently seeking a highly organized and dependable HR & Admin Assistant to support our Human Resources and Administrative departments. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate we are looking must reside in OC county, bilingual (English/Spanish), be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and handling responsibilities such as employee support, policy compliance, clerical duties, and maintaining confidentiality with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

HR Support:

Assist in daily HR operations and provide support to the HR Manager
Translate documents and verbal communication between English and Spanish
Maintain compliance with federal/state labor laws and OSHA standards
Document and organize employee information, performance reports, and internal communications
Support new hire orientations and employee onboarding
Help with workers' compensation claims and workplace safety programs
Revise and update the Employee Handbook and HR policies
Coordinate training sessions and company events

Administrative Support:

Answer and route incoming phone calls
Receive, organize, and distribute mail and packages up to 50 lbs
Process and verify invoices and payment checks
Maintain office and break room supplies
Schedule IT support and manage general office requests
Help ensure cleanliness of shared office areas, including restrooms
Provide professional and helpful assistance to visitors and employees

Qualifications
•Must have recently finished higher education

1–2 years of experience in administration or HR
Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (speak, read, write professional)
Maintain a positive upbeat attitude
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
