We are currently looking for a patent attorney or patent agent with a strong technical background in engineering. This is a very team oriented, friendly, and cooperative environment wherein talent is matched with opportunity and team members are entrusted with substantial client interaction. and must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Opportunity to work fully remotely as a patent attorney from anywhere in the USA.

Within this practice there is an abundance of high-quality work from sophisticated clients, yet you will not be expected to do ridiculous hours. More specifically, you have input regarding your target billable hours. This group is more interested in keeping quality talent and providing high-quality work to clients. This is a competitive compensation structure that rewards production while allowing you be in charge of your work/life balance. There is an abundance of challenging and sophisticated work here, thus you will be exposed to a diverse array of complex technologies (e.g., robotics; kinematics; structural engineering pertaining to complex dynamic systems; machine design; automated manufacturing machines, equipment, and related control systems; mechatronics; application of state-of-the-art machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI); optical systems, etc.).

The focus of the work will primarily relate to the preparation and prosecution of patents for domestic and foreign clients while also supporting practice needs in other related areas (e.g., patentability, infringement, and freedom to operate opinions; portfolio strategy and management; due diligence; litigation support; Patent Trial and Appeal Board issues).

Patent Attorney Qualifications:
* Minimum BS Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or related
* Must have at least 2 years of full-time claim drafting and prosecutions experience
* Demonstrated for producing high-quality patents relating to complex related technologies
* Solid communication interpersonal skills for client interaction
* State bar and USPTO bar

Patent Agent Qualifications:
* Minimum BS Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or related
* Must have at least 2 years of full-time claim drafting and prosecutions experience
* Demonstrated for producing high-quality patents relating to complex related technologies
* Solid communication interpersonal skills for client interaction
* USPTO bar
