Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Personal Trainer/Therapy Aide to join our vibrant fitness community! In this role, you will inspire clients to achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized training programs and therapeutic support. You will play a key part in creating a positive, motivating environment that encourages clients to push their limits and unlock their full potential. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in fitness coaching, therapy assistance, and client engagement while making a meaningful impact on people's lives.

Responsibilities

Design and implement customized workout plans tailored to individual client needs, goals, and fitness levels
Provide expert guidance on proper body mechanics, biomechanics, and exercise techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness
Assist clients with therapeutic exercises, manual handling techniques, and injury prevention strategies
Conduct fitness assessments, monitor progress, and adjust programs accordingly to maximize results
Educate clients on nutrition, body mechanics, and overall wellness practices to support holistic health
Maintain a safe environment by adhering to first aid, CPR, AED operation protocols, and safety standards
Build strong rapport with clients through effective communication, motivation, and personalized coaching to foster long-term engagement

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching, personal training, or fitness industry roles with a focus on client development
Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, biomechanics, and program design principles
Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, first aid, and liability insurance preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and demonstrate proper manual handling techniques
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trust and motivate diverse clients
Experience teaching physical education or working within health clubs or gym environments is highly desirable
Strong communication skills for client consultation and program explanation
Familiarity with fitness sales processes and promoting wellness services effectively
