Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Assistant to join our growing multinational company. In this role, you will support the organization’s financial operations by managing accounting processes and maintaining accurate financial records. Your contributions will help streamline financial workflows, enhance data accuracy, and support decision-making across departments. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about accounting, eager to develop their expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management
Prepare and process journal entries to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliation and financial statement preparation
Manage various accounting software systems such as QuickBooks and others to ensure seamless financial operations
Contribute to the preparation of reports using Excel data analysis techniques and spreadsheets for management review
Work closely with our mainland China operation

Skills

Mandarin communication skills
Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and governmental accounting standards
Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks or similar systems
Experience with technical accounting concepts including journal entries, account analysis, double-entry bookkeeping, and balance sheet reconciliation
Excellent numeracy skills coupled with the ability to perform detailed data entry and account reconciliation tasks accurately
Familiarity with financial concepts like debits & credits, account reconciliation processes, and general ledger management
Ability to analyze Excel spreadsheets effectively for data analysis and reporting purposes
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and provide exceptional customer service in finance-related inquiries
Must be authorized to work in the US
