Full Job Description

This position will be remote in the United States, with west coast working hours preferred.

You Are:

You are a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for equity administration and a keen sense of responsibility. With at least two years of hands-on experience in equity management—especially in a public company environment—you understand the nuances of global stock plans and strive for operational excellence in everything you do. You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings where your ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt is put to the test daily. Your deep knowledge of SEC regulations, global equity compliance, and taxation enables you to keep Synopsys at the forefront of equity plan administration.

You believe in the power of collaboration, working closely with cross-functional teams such as Accounting, Tax, Payroll, HR, Legal, and external partners. Communication is your strong suit—you are confident interacting with employees at all levels, delivering complex information in a clear, approachable manner. Integrity, discretion, and confidentiality are at the core of your professional ethos, and you are trusted to handle sensitive data with the utmost care.

You are self-motivated, analytical, and always seeking to improve processes for greater efficiency and compliance. As a Certified Equity Professional (CEP) or someone striving toward certification, you are committed to your professional development and to elevating the standard of equity administration at Synopsys.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Maintain and administer multiple company stock plans, including grant processing, exercises/releases, terminations, and comprehensive reporting.
Audit and update the employee stock database while facilitating information exchange with external brokers (E*TRADE).
Collaborate on the design, communication, and continuous improvement of equity plans and related educational programs.
Assist in administering the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), handling enrollments, contribution changes, semi-annual purchases, and disposition reporting.
Respond promptly to participant inquiries regarding equity programs, delivering excellent service to employees at all levels.
Prepare and reconcile monthly and quarterly equity-related reports, supporting accounting and audit functions.
Partner with Accounting, Tax, Payroll, HR, Legal, transfer agents, auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless equity administration.
Support year-end processes such as payroll audits, tax rate updates, and Section 6039 compliance.
Ensure international stock plan compliance, staying current with legislative changes and global best practices.
Act as a liaison for SOX compliance and audits, identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.
Provide ad hoc analysis and contribute to special projects as they arise.

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in equity administration, with international exposure preferred.
Certified Equity Professional (CEP) strongly preferred.
Expertise in managing high-volume stock plans within a public company environment.
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; experience with Equity Edge Online and EEO Workflow is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of SEC regulations, global equity compliance, and global taxation.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Salary, Rewards, and Benefits:

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $117,000 - $140,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on various job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
