Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced GSOC Officer / Security Manager who can take ownership of day-to-day security operations while building a strong, professional relationship with both the client and the security team.
This is a hands-on leadership position. The person in this role will work closely with the client, serve as a key point of contact for security operations, and step in to manage the operation when the client is unavailable.
We are looking for someone who is confident, organized, technically capable, and comfortable holding people accountable. At the same time, we want a leader who knows how to work with different personalities, coach employees, recognize potential, and help officers grow into stronger professionals and future leaders.
This is not a position for someone who manages through fear or unnecessary discipline. We want someone who leads by example, sets clear expectations, follows through, and earns the respect of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted day-to-day security partner to the client.
- Take responsibility for security operations when the client is unavailable.
- Provide daily leadership, direction, coaching, and accountability to security officers.
- Ensure officers consistently follow post orders, policies, reporting requirements, and client expectations.
- Address performance concerns professionally and determine when coaching or formal corrective action is appropriate.
- Help identify high-performing officers and develop potential future supervisors and leaders.
- Assist with implementing and maintaining new security procedures, processes, and operational standards.
- Monitor and review CCTV and video surveillance systems as needed.
- Assist with incident investigations, video review, research, and follow-up.
- Review incident reports, daily activity reports, and other operational documentation for accuracy and trends.
- Maintain Excel trackers, operational reports, security data, and related documentation.
- Retrieve and organize information requested by the client or security leadership.
- Communicate effectively through Slack and other internal business platforms.
- Assist with incident response, escalation, and coordination when necessary.
- Work effectively with security officers, supervisors, management, employees, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Identify gaps or recurring issues within the security operation and recommend practical improvements.
- Maintain professionalism and sound judgment during incidents, disagreements, and high-pressure situations.

Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Security Supervisor, Security Manager, GSOC Officer, GSOC Supervisor, Corporate Security professional, or in a similar leadership role.
- Experience supervising or managing security personnel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including maintaining trackers, organizing data, and preparing reports.
- Experience using or reviewing CCTV/video surveillance systems.
- Comfortable using Slack or similar workplace communication platforms.
- Ability to retrieve, organize, analyze, and clearly present security-related information.
- Experience reviewing incident reports and identifying operational issues or trends.
- Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively with people at different levels of an organization.

Schedule
This is a full-time position, approximately 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
The regular schedule will be one of the following:
Option 1: Sunday – Thursday
Option 2: Tuesday – Saturday
Some schedule flexibility may occasionally be required based on operational needs, major incidents, or other security-related situations.
The Person We Want
We are looking for someone who can walk into an established security operation, learn how it works, identify where improvements are needed, and quickly become a trusted part of the leadership team.
You should already be comfortable with security operations, CCTV, reporting, Excel, incident management, and officer supervision. We are looking for someone who can contribute without requiring extensive training on the fundamentals.
Most importantly, we want a leader who can make the operation stronger while also making the people around them better.
