Wild Fields Brewhouse is looking for a passionate, driven and effective cook to run our kitchen!

Wild Fields Brewhouse is a local brewpub crafted as a comfortable space for beer lovers and families alike. Ryan’s passion and art for making high-quality brews shine and is complemented by a fresh flavorful food menu. Our facility strives to be a place for everyone to feel welcome with activities to engage all ages.

Our Kitchen Manager directly supervises back-of-house staff and will be instrumental in maintaining excellent customer experiences by ensuring timely food service with high-quality delivery and flavor. If you are someone who is excited by developing a quality experience for our guests, loves empowering staff, and thinks the craft beer industry is like family this could be the job for you!

Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:

Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders
Supervising food prep and cooking
Checking food plating and temperature
Establish & ensure portion sizes to meet costs and minimize loss
Schedule kitchen staff shifts
Price menu items in collaboration with owners
Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed
Train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques
Store food products in compliance with safety practices
Keep weekly and monthly cost & loss reports
Establish and maintain a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and all kitchen equipment.
Maintain sanitation and safety standards
Working with owners to identify areas for growth and improvement for staff and customer satisfaction
Responsible for development and execution of rotating menu items & food specials
Communicate responsibly with the management & staff of menu options and ingredients

Experience and Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager or Head Chef preferred

Food Handlers Management Certification preferred

Certification from a culinary school is a plus

Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.

Starting Pay $26/hour (potential for upward mobility and bonus based on performance)

Vacation Time TBD

Sick days to meet or surpass state requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
