Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient electrical operations that meet all safety standards and electrical codes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation sites to new construction, utilizing your technical skills and hands-on experience to make a tangible impact.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprints.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure precise installations and repairs.
Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
Oil field electrical expiriance.
Collaborate on construction sites to install wiring, conduit, panels, and other electrical components during new builds or renovations.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and operational efficiency.Requirements
Valid journeyman electrician license with proven industrial electrician experience.
Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of renovation projects and new installations.
Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and framing carpentry basics.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, power drills, and other essential electrical equipment.
Knowledge of NEC standards, low voltage systems, high voltage safety protocols, and schematics reading.
Familiarity with industrial electrician tasks involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces while adhering to all safety guidelines.
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks in industrial settings.
