Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Chef de Partie to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes with precision and creativity. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced environment, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, highly organized, and eager to showcase their culinary talents in a professional setting that values innovation and teamwork.

Schedule

Wednesday through Sunday start time at 1pm, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, as well as, major holidays Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Duties

Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes, presentation standards, and dietary guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality.
Manage specific sections of the kitchen, such as grilling, saute, fryer, or food production stations, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and innovative dish ideas.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, grills, ovens, and food preparation tools.
Follow food safety management procedures, including sanitizing surfaces and proper food handling techniques to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during high-volume meal service.

Skills

Proven experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments with strong food preparation skills.
Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques.
Excellent knife skills and proficiency operating various kitchen equipment safely.
Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and food safety management practices.
Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining flexibility for menu adjustments or special requests.
Strong understanding of food handling regulations to support diverse service settings.
