Alpha is developing one of the world's most forward-thinking educational models. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. You will manage the complete admissions process for a campus, spanning initial inquiry to final enrollment. This is not a role where you pass families between departments. You are accountable for the family experience, the clarity with which they grasp our model, and ensuring enrollment decisions happen for sound reasons. You will evaluate alignment, facilitate informed discussions, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not filling seats. The objective is compatibility.

What you will be doing

Taking full responsibility for the enrollment pathway for prospective families, beginning with initial outreach and concluding with onboarding.
Facilitating discovery conversations to assess compatibility before offering recommendations or outlining subsequent actions.
Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across various enrollment phases, maintaining transparent tracking and timely follow-up.
Guiding campus visits, student shadow days, and enrollment dialogues that articulate results, standards, and the families best suited to the model.
Ensuring precision in CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and sustained service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

Applying volume-driven or aggressive conversion techniques.
Accepting families who lack alignment simply to meet enrollment targets.
Overseeing a sizable team or navigating multi-layered organizational hierarchies.
Distributing accountability for the family experience across multiple functions.
Operating remotely. This is an on-campus position by necessity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver a high-caliber, selective enrollment process that successfully enrolls aligned families while safeguarding the rigor and outcomes of the Alpha model.

Candidate Requirements

3+ years providing exceptional, individualized service in settings where quality directly influences brand credibility (education, premium hospitality, senior executive support, exclusive membership organizations, or independently managed client services).
Proven accountability for a full-cycle client, admissions, or enrollment experience from initial interaction through final onboarding.
Experience managing 20+ simultaneous client, guest, or family accounts across varying stages, supported by an organized tracking and prioritization approach.
Capacity to share specific instances of advisory decision-making, including situations where you recommended against your own offering due to poor fit.
Professional written correspondence experience with C-level executives, affluent clients, or discerning audiences.
Readiness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Malibu, CA; Los Angeles, CA; or Santa Barbara, CA.
Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

Background in competitive independent school admissions or selective program recruitment.
History in premium hospitality, VIP client services, or C-suite support positions.
Experience designing or enhancing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to refine enrollment quality, not merely pace.
