Full Job Description

Job Title: Clinical Scientist II - C
Location: Santa Rosa, CA - 100% Onsite
Pay Range: $50/hr to $54/hr on W2

Job Details:

Perform laboratory tests in accordance with standard procedures, ensuring compliance with department objectives and state of California and CLIA requirements.
Review calibration and quality control results to meet specifications, taking corrective actions as necessary before releasing test results.
Safely handle hazardous materials, observing all safety rules and regulations to minimize exposure risks.
Investigate inconsistent lab results, communicate findings, and implement corrective actions to maintain test accuracy and reliability.
Maintain detailed documentation for calibration, QC, equipment maintenance, specimen handling, and results certification.

What's Needed?

Must be licensed by the state of California as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Generalist, Toxicologist, or Chemist).
Bachelor's Degree in Science required; minimum 2 years of experience in a toxicology or clinical laboratory setting preferred.
Experience with mass spectrometry techniques such as LC/MS/MS or GC/MS is highly desirable.
Strong pipetting, computer, and LIMS system skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coach and support team members effectively.
