Full Job Description

We are looking for a professional and talented Sous Chef to complete our kitchen management team (Executive, AM Sous, PM Sous), following our Executive Chef’s specifications and guidelines. The successful candidate is responsible for ensuring successful day to day operations of the restaurant & production staff. The sous chef will employ its culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

Helping in the preparation of breakfast, lunch and dinner menus
Assists Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage in planning menus
Ensuring that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.
Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.
Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and gain control of any problematic situation
Manage and train kitchen staff
Assist in ordering appropriately meet inventory needs
Follow and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers.

Sous Chef' s Requirements:

1+ years Restaurant Sous Chef experience
Excellent work ethic, high energy & sense of urgency
Ability to executing consistency at a high-volume
Must be able to proficiently work all stations on line
Basic understanding of labor controls
Must be passionate about cleanliness and food safety
Open to working days, nights, and weekends
Holds leadership qualities and can mentor and guide a team of Cooks and Prep cooks.
