Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Fine Dining Server, where your passion for exceptional hospitality and refined service will shine. In this role, you will create memorable dining experiences for guests by delivering attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service in an elegant setting. Your expertise in food and beverage presentation, combined with your warm guest relations skills, will elevate our restaurant’s reputation for excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary knowledge, sales skills, and dedication to hospitality in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them through the menu options with enthusiasm and detailed descriptions.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring timely and correct processing of transactions.
Provide expert recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, cocktails, and menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and promote upselling opportunities.
Serve food and beverages professionally, including cocktail service, beverage handling, and food presentation in accordance with food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all service areas, including bussing tables efficiently and adhering to sanitation protocols.
Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving concerns effectively, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods.
Process cash transactions accurately while handling POS systems like OpenTable or other reservation platforms to manage guest seating efficiently.
Evening shift availability only

Experience

Proven food service experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment is required; culinary experience is a plus.
Familiarity with POS systems.
Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service enhances guest interactions.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume service periods.
Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a focus on guest satisfaction.
Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations is necessary to uphold our high-quality standards.
Previous experience with reservation management platforms like OpenTable is advantageous for coordinating guest seating smoothly.
