Full Job Description

Job Overview
Our esthetics program is looking for a motivated teacher who has a passion for the industry and the skills to teach at a school level keeping students engaged and creating new learning opportunities at each level of the program.

This position is a combination of classroom theory teaching, advanced treatment demos as well as clinic floor monitoring. Candidates must be comfortable creating lesson plans and activities for textbook chapters as well as helping students on the clinic floor with clients. We offer facials, advanced facials with machines, body waxing, facial waxing, makeup, and brow treatments.

The ideal candidate can easily handle multiple clients as well as making sure students without clients are keeping busy working on each other or studying.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cover essential topics such as hair styling, nail care, and dermabrasion techniques.
Conduct hands-on training sessions in a classroom setting to ensure students gain practical experience.
Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cosmetology and aesthetic treatments to provide relevant information to students.
Facilitate discussions on adult education methodologies to effectively teach diverse learners.
Promote a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Provide guidance on trigger point therapy techniques as part of holistic beauty education.

Experience

Previous experience in teaching or training within the beauty or wellness industry is preferred.
Strong background in esthetics with expertise facials, and aesthetic treatments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students of varying skill levels.
A valid cosmetology or esthetician license or equivalent certification is required for this position.
