Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Event Management Coordinator to lead the planning, execution, and oversight of a diverse range of events. Responsibilities

Coordinate all aspects of event planning from initial concept through execution, including venue selection, catering arrangements, and logistics management
Negotiate contracts with vendors such as caterers, decorators, entertainment providers, and venue managers to secure the best terms and services
Develop comprehensive event budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality
Oversee event marketing efforts to promote events effectively across various channels and maximize attendance
Manage on-site event operations, ensuring smooth setup, guest registration, guest services, and breakdown procedures
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify upselling opportunities that enhance event revenue and client satisfaction
Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate schedules, requirements, and special requests
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while providing exceptional customer service to all attendees
Implement organizational systems for tracking event details, contracts, permits, and feedback for continuous improvement

Experience

Proven experience in event planning or management within hospitality settings such as hotels, restaurants, or banquet facilities
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable vendor agreements and contracts
Background in marketing or sales with the ability to promote events effectively and identify upselling opportunities
Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management for events of varying sizes
Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, vendors, guests, and team members
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Experience in banquet operations or catering services is highly desirable
Knowledge of event marketing strategies and guest services best practices within hospitality environments
