The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events at The Resort at Longboat Key Club. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional who can manage all aspects of event logistics, from initial concept through to successful completion, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests and clients.

Responsibilities

Plan and oversee all event activities, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.
Coordinate with vendors, venue staff, and clients to ensure seamless execution.
Manage event budgets, timelines, and contracts to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Develop innovative event concepts and themes that align with the resort’s brand and guest expectations.
Handle event setup, breakdown, and on-site management to maintain high standards of service.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote events and grow the resort’s event portfolio.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to encourage repeat business.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Event Manager or similar role.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of event management software and MS Office suite.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
