Reconstruction Project Manager
Full-Time | Exempt/Salary | Reports to Construction Operations Manager
SERVPRO of Bradenton is looking for an experienced Reconstruction Project Manager to lead rebuild and repair projects across our East Bradenton/Lakewood Ranch, West Bradenton/Anna Maria, and Sun City Center/Ruskin South territories. You'll take projects handed off from our Estimating team through to final walkthrough and Certificate of Completion, keeping subcontractors on schedule, budgets on track, and customers confident every step of the way. What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and clients throughout the life of the project, owning their overall experience and satisfaction.
- Take ownership of projects handed off from Estimating, and develop scopes of work and prepare estimates in Xactimate as needed.
- Negotiate scope, estimate approval, terms, and expectations with customers and clients.
- Collect deposits and draws throughout the project.
- Build project schedules and timelines, and coordinate subcontractors and material suppliers.
- Work with our existing subcontractor network, and vet and onboard new subcontractors who meet our subcontractor agreement terms and margin goals.
- Oversee execution of work, conduct quality assurance, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Ensure work performed complies with plans, specifications, local codes, and the approved scope of work.
- Secure required permits for active projects.
- Maintain complete, accurate job files and documentation to support the services provided.
- Compile and resolve punch list items, perform the final walkthrough, and secure signed Certificates of Completion and Satisfaction.
- Review budgets, manage expenses, and assist in collecting final payment.
- Communicate proactively with customers, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Manage equipment, tools, and materials assigned to your projects.
- Uphold safety and risk management standards on every jobsite.
- Manage warranty activities for completed projects.
- Take on additional responsibilities as the business requires.
What You Bring
- Xactimate experience required — you're comfortable building scopes and estimates independently.
- Previous construction management experience required.
- Strong track record of customer service in a construction or restoration setting.
- High school diploma or GED required; PMP certification a plus.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
- Experience in restoration and/or general construction preferred.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel between job sites.
Work Environment
This role blends office work with regular time on active jobsites. Field visits involve walking and standing throughout the day, frequent driving and sitting, and occasional ladder climbing. Some jobsite conditions may involve heat and loud noise levels.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week minimum), with additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as project demands require.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
