Responsibilities

Prepare fresh ingredients by chopping, slicing, and portioning according to menu specifications
Assist chefs with food preparation and cooking tasks to ensure timely service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station and kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety of all ingredients and dishes
Support menu planning by preparing ingredients needed for daily specials and upcoming events
Help with food plating and presentation to uphold restaurant standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Requirements

Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is essential
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, utensils, and sanitation practices
