Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and managing data across various systems to support our operational efficiency. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will ensure that all information is precise, accessible, and maintained with the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where accuracy and productivity are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Enter and update data into spreadsheets, databases, and management software with speed and precision
Verify the accuracy of information by proofreading entries and cross-referencing sources
Manage filing systems both electronically and physically for order entry and documentation purposes
Viewing and completing daily yard checks and audits
Support office management tasks such as calendar scheduling, appointment setting, and correspondence handling
Handle incoming calls using multi-line phone systems, providing excellent customer service and client communication
Assist with document organization, data cleaning, and routine administrative duties to streamline office operations
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies
This is a dynamic, fast-paced dispatch operation. Cross-training within core dispatch functions is a requirement, and candidates must be receptive to developing proficiency across multiple areas.

Skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook and Excel, and experience with AS 400 is a plus
Experience with data entry, clerical tasks, and office management practices
Excellent typing speed coupled with high accuracy; keen eye for proofreading details
Ability to operate multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
Strong computer literacy and technical proficiency in productivity software tools
Previous office experience including front desk responsibilities and administrative support roles
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Customer service experience that emphasizes clear communication and problem-solving skills
