Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Turret Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for operating turret machines to produce high-quality metal components efficiently and accurately. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless fabrication of parts, ensuring precision and safety standards are met consistently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and be a vital part of our manufacturing process, supporting our commitment to excellence and innovation.

Duties

Set up, operate, and monitor turret machines, including CNC turret presses, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce precise components.
Utilize tooling, hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality inspection and measurement verification.
Program CNC turret machines and other related equipment such as CNC milling machines, lathes, plasma cutters, and laser cutters to meet production requirements.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshoot issues promptly, and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs or adjustments.
Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure parts meet GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards and customer specifications.
Operate cranes or hoists safely when handling sheet metal or heavy materials during fabrication or assembly processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating turret presses or similar CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in CNC programming, laser cutting, plasma cutting, stamping presses, press brake machines, CNC lathes, and milling machines.
Skilled in blueprint reading with the ability to interpret complex technical drawings accurately.
Proficient in using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality control.
Knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication processes is a plus.
Ability to work with basic math skills necessary for machining calculations and measurements.
Experience with safety procedures involving cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality inspection and adherence to manufacturing standards.
