Summary/Objective

Rival Technologies, LLC, offers innovative products customized to meet customer specific design requirements. From components to full fabrication, Rival has the knowledge and ability to assist in finding solutions to even the most challenging applications. Plus, our expansive and flexible manufacturing vendors allow us to consistently satisfy demanding production schedules with reliable low-cost, high-quality products.

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the efficient management and movement of goods, from sourcing raw materials to final delivery to customers. Key responsibilities include managing inventory and purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and logistics providers, tracking shipments, resolving supply chain issues with suppliers, analyzing supply chain processes for efficiency and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

Our ideal candidate will have experience performing the following job duties preferably within a manufacturing/distribution environment.

Responsibilities

Purchasing responsibilities including the entering of Purchase Orders into our ERP system (NetSuite) and following up with order production and shipping status (specifically with suppliers located in Vietnam and China).
Create Work Orders for assembly items and build Work Orders in NetSuite.
Work with Accounting Manager to reconcile vendor invoices.
Create new and audit existing supplier profiles in NetSuite.
Maintain planning files for all customer stocking programs.
Coordinate with Sales for new Purchase Orders from customers and forecast potential stock outs.
Coordinate with Vietnam team for entering new Purchase Orders as needed.
Coordinate with suppliers for buying raw materials for specific customers under stocking agreements.
Complete the order fulfillment process in NetSuite.
Book domestic and international shipments and update accordingly in NetSuite.
Conduct monthly inventory checks for all warehouse locations.
Run Supply Chain reports and assist with process improvements for department goals.
Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations for future US manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or equivalent preferred.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, planning and logistics preferred but not required.
Advanced understanding of business operations, financial equities, and risk management.
Previous experience working with suppliers in Asia a plus.
Fluency in both English and Vietnamese a plus.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (such as negotiation, influence, and presentation skills), with the ability to communicate effectively to direct and motivate stakeholders to meet business objectives like eliminating distressed inventory.
Demonstrated problem solving, time-management, customer service, negotiation, interpersonal, decision making, leadership, organization, and communication skills
Ability to deliver results under pressure, work independently, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Ability to anticipate and resolve vendor issues with a strong sense of urgency.
Excellent planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
High level of self-motivation, initiative, and flexibility.
Experience working in an ERP system (specifically NetSuite) preferred.
Strong computer skills for Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel; ability to learn other software packages.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
