Job Overview

In this role, you will be the frontline support for our organization's IT infrastructure, providing essential technical assistance, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and ensuring seamless computer operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment while making a real impact by supporting our users and maintaining our technological systems. Duties

Provide technical support to end-users across various departments, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Troubleshoot and resolve software problems on operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring minimal downtime.
Assist with computer management tasks including installation, configuration, updates, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Support network administration activities such as configuring and maintaining LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewall settings, DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, and network security measures like Meraki devices.
Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory, GPO (Group Policy Objects), and help desk tools like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
Support the deployment of operating system images using tools like SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and assist with troubleshooting network issues involving TCP/IP protocols.
Collaborate with team members to document incidents using Jira or other ticketing systems, ensuring clear communication and follow-up on unresolved issues.

Qualifications

Strong interest in IT support, computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and network administration.
Basic understanding of operating systems including Windows (Windows Server), macOS, and Linux environments.
Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, DNS, TCP/IP protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networking (e.g., Meraki).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
Ability to analyze problems quickly and develop effective solutions under supervision.
Experience with help desk ticketing systems like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy is a plus but not required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications and basic computer hardware components.
Eagerness to learn new technologies such as Active Directory management, network security tools, or operating system deployment techniques.
