Full Job Description

1856 Capital Partners is a boutique practice offering personalized financial guidance and solutions tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. With a commitment to integrity, transparency, and client-centered service, our team empowers individuals, families, and businesses to make informed decisions and build sustainable financial futures.

We are seeking a Client Associate (CA) to support our growing practice! The CA will interact with and service the needs of our clients with the aim of making that experience feel exceptional. The CA will also deliver both administrative and operational support to the financial advisory team.

Base Salary: $40,000 - $60,000. Salary based on candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.

Bonus Structure: A potential bonus structure will be implemented based on individual and practice performance metrics. Specific targets and criteria for bonus eligibility will be discussed and agreed to upon hiring.

Responsibilities:

Assist Financial Advisors (FAs) with the collection, creation, and distribution of investment information.
Schedule meetings, create reminders, gather and input data.
Onboard new clients, including the collection of required documentation and client information and regularly communicates with those clients throughout the process.
Ensures that key client information and documentation are up-to-date.
Answers incoming calls.
Responds to client and/or administrative issues and demands via phone or written correspondence as appropriate, research answers as needed.
Engages in industry training and education programs to maintain current status on policies and procedures.
Record comprehensive meeting minutes during client sessions to accurately capture discussions, action items, and decisions.

Expectations of the Role:

Excellent communication with the team via conference/Zoom calls, instant messenger, phone, email etc.
Positive attitude, willingness to engage in various business projects and initiatives.
Assist and train team members as needed.
Contribute to business vision and positive/unique team culture.
Deepen client relationships; seek out ways to “surprise and delight” clients.
Continually seeks opportunities to resolve issues with the goal of improving both the teams and client experience.

Opportunities for Advancement:

Though not mandatory for this position, 1856 Capital Partners believes in fostering an environment of professional development. CA’s who decide to obtain a Series 7 and/or 66 FINRA securities registration will be financially rewarded for building on their skillset.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience working within financial services.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage a variety of tasks and prioritize individual workload responsibilities.
Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements as well as utilize good judgment in the preparation, handling, and distribution of confidential information.
Ability to convey messages clearly, concisely, and pleasantly to others in person, by phone, or via written correspondence. This includes grammatical proficiency.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products; proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
A desire to positively impact the lives of the practice’s clientele and the practice itself.

Work Environment:

Professional and deadline-oriented environment in an office setting.
Interaction with clients, prospects, FA(s), and other team members.
